Say It With Poros // Paint Tool Sai
When I was a kiddo, I saw a gaming magazine that offered a free greetings card on the cover. It was a Valentines Day card featuring Sonic the Hedgehog holding a bunch of roses, and it said 'Say it with Sonic'. I didn't understand the phrase, at the time, but the image and writing stuck with me for the best part of twenty five years (yech, I'm old). This was originally meant to be a Valentines card I was going to put on Etsy, but as it's now the 28th of April I think you can all guess how that went!

Hello guys! I've been busy making some cute new stock for MCM Expo this May! I'm trying to have a way larger variety of 'stuff' for my table this time around, and I really want to include my pyrography! This is a cute little wooden heart I found at The Works over Valentines and thought it'd be perfect for some nerdy slogans! The first idea I had was, of course, these little guys! You never forget your first Pokémon! :)

I've been drawing a lot of ACEO commissions lately! They are so much fun to do, and a really neat challenge to try and capture a character on such a tiny piece of paper. Here's a selection of some of my favourites. You can see all my ACEOs, commissions and personal work, over on Reaperfox.com!

Trying my hand at even more pyrography! This one's for sale over on my Etsy store here!
I'm sorry I haven't been posting much lately! Truth is, I haven't had a whole lot happening lately apart from art and video games (hah, the usual then.) However, I'm off to Disneyland Paris this weekend with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary! We'll be gone for most the week, and then jetting straight off to Plymouth for a LAN event with his old comp sci society. I'm eager to get back into blogging more regularly, I think I need to set up a schedule really rather than just posting whenever something crosses my mind! Tags:
I've been burning boxes again! This time, a little circle shaped box featuring two adorable Poros from the video game League of Legends! Here they are, enjoying some Poro Snax in the snow!
I'm really enjoying pyrography, or woodburning. It's trickier than I thought it'd be (nothing's easy, I guess!) because the nip sometimes wibbles around the grooves in the wood and it's easy to make a smooth line. Still, I think my very first attempts are a pretty good start! This box has been embellished with gel pen and white pencil and it's currently for sale on my Etsy store! Tags:
Santa (by way of my mum) gifted me a lovely woodburning kit for Christmas, so naturally the first thing I tried was a My Little Pony! Here's Princess Luna! It was pretty difficult, because the grain of the wood kept making my lines uneven and bumpy, but it's a pretty good first attempt!
SOLD :) but I'll be doing more! Tags:
Here's some Sketch Cards I've been working on lately! The one above, called 'Snow Bunny' was an original card I put on eBay and was snapped up instantly! There's a really big Sketch Card community on eBay so I'm going to throw myself into that in the new year! The two below were commissions from two different clients, Creepy River and Reskell. :) I was also commissioned by my buddy Xharag ages ago to draw his Zergling character. It was a heck of a challenge for me, because I've never drawn a Zerg before! This is a Marker Card size piece of art, basically A6 size. I'm slowing down for Christmas now. I'm closing up my Etsy shop next week as I'm off on holiday then, and I'm not taking anymore commissions now until January. I've got some awesome new projects and ideas to play with in 2015 though, so I'll be roaring back into action soon! <3

Introducing Fandom Foxes! A brand new project and line of art pieces featuring cute little critters who love nothing more than nerding out over their favourite television shows, video games and comics! I'm going to be selling products through my Redbubble store, prints on my Etsy and hopefully will have a whole line of charms, necklaces and goodies available at conventions in 2015! Has anyone got any favourite characters or fandoms they'd love to see my little foxes dressed up as? Let me know and maybe they'll go rummage in their cosplay wardrobe for you! :)

Halloween really brings out the Reaperfox in me. <3 Finally created a character reference sheet, something I've put off making for years, as a visual reference for her, and I'm probably going to turn that bottom picture into a conbadge!

Trying to expand my art output a little lately. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE popculture nerd art and won't be quitting that anytime soon, but I want to create more pieces that are a little more universal. Ideally I'd love to sell prints and merchandise at local craft fairs and festivals, so I'm trying to draw a little more diversely.
So, basically foxes. Lots and lots of foxes. Slurpee Foxie is available on shirts, phone cases, tote bag and pillows over on my Redbubble store! Tags:
