Artist ♡ Gamer ♡ Blogger ♡ Slytherin
Hello! My name's Selena, but if you've met me online, you might know me as 'Reaperfox'! That's been my online handle for art and gaming ever since the 1990s, because I am Old. Most of my friends even call me 'Reaper' these days.

I'm an artist living in the South West of England who specialises in digital illustrations. I sell my art at various comic/anime conventions around the UK! You can find out all about my art and convention work over on my art website, reaperfox.com! I've also started creating pyrography (wood-burned art), with a fantasy/wildlife theme, which you can find over at 'Under the Cinnamon Stars'.

Aside from that, I'm a huge gamer! I've loved video games since I played my Dad's old Amstrad 6128. For three seasons I played Medic in our ETF2L Highlander team and I was Termisoc's midlane champion in the first 'Best of the South West' League of Legends tournament. I even met my boyfriend, Moose (which is, surprisingly, his online gaming handle and not his real name, haha) in Team Fortress 2 back in 2009. Safe to say, video games are probably my biggest passion.

Contributing to my ever-so-grown-up lifestyle, also I collect My Little Pony toys - primarily the vintage figures from the 1980s. I've been a collector my whole life, ever since my parents bought me my first pony (Sunlight, for those taking notes!) I now own over a thousand of them from all around the world, including dozens still in their original packaging from the 1980s, and I even featured on the BBC show 'I Love Toys'. My folks must be so proud.

I love cosplaying, (though I don't do it nearly as much as I'd like), mid-century fashion/decor, and travelling around the world. I'm a huge Disney nut, a Slytherin and I watch Netflix far too much. My favourite television show in the whole wide world is Mad Men, and my favourite band is a 1980s new wave rock group called Oingo Boingo - which incidentally is where my blog's name came from!

About Dream Somehow

Dream Somehow is my lifestyle blog that doesn't quite fit into any niche. Here you'll find travel and fashion posts, comic convention reports, Disney chatter, adventures and event coverage, hauls, gadgets, and board game reviews! I am a gamer and a nerd, but also a girlie-girl who adores pretty vintage dresses, glittery bath bombs and make-up. The two aren't often represented together, so Dream Somehow is a blog with an aim to show that you can do both!

Dream Somehow is a PR friendly blog and I enjoy promoting and supporting brands I love! Any sponsored posts will be denoted as such, and all opinions will forever be my own. Brands relevant to my blog would represent gaming, travel, Disney, alternative/vintage fashion & make-up, and anything with nerd/geek lifestyle potential! I live in the South West and spend a lot of time in London, and I'm always up for a chance to cover your event or venue (please, give me an excuse to eat lots of delicious food!) Please contact me at laughingfox@gmail.com if you'd like Dream Somehow to promote your brand. Thank you!
